Car quilt for son of Mrs. L
Picture taken December 9, 2008
This was made for Mrs. L's son...as an appreciation gift for all the hard work she did in her class room. She was T's all-time fav teacher. This quilt has photo iron-ons of all their fav places, covered in clear vinyl, hand-sewn on. Then the details were painted on. Kind of a map of JC, MO but only their fav places were added...and lots of liberties taken to make it all fit.

The middle one hung at my house, the end ones at my mom's and SIL's...right before the MO Kosovo (national guard) team's deployment ceremony...so we would remember to pray for our guys...we knew people on that team (and they arrived home safely).
